The Libertas Platform is composed of Joomla and CiviCRM at its core.
However, even with the robust out-of-the-box features of these two industry leading software packages, we still felt there was room for improvement in the functionality of both the end user experience and the content managers' experience.
As such, Libertas Web Services has purchased numerous additional extensions to enhance the features of Joomla and provide you with modern and easy-to-use Web components such as maps, event calendars, page tabs, and much more.
Please see below for more information about the types of extensions we currently provide in the Libertas Platform. If you have suggestions on other extensions you think we should provide, please contact us - our goal is to continuously improve upon the Libertas Platform!
An advanced article management component which allows for multiple users (writers) to publish content, offers an editor review process, and provides easy administration from the front-end of the Website. There are many exceptional features of this component, but probably the most valuable feature is that you can avoid granting Joomla Admin access to non-technical users whose only job on the website is to publish new content, such as a Communication Director or his/her team would need to do.
A robust event calendar component which can be used externally to display upcoming public events, conventions, and more, or internally to track meetings and deadlines.
A Facebook “like” box to show Website visitors how many people like your Facebook page and help drive traffic from your Website to the active conversations on your Facebook page.
A configurable Google Maps component which allows you to identify locations and contact information for meetups, events, and local party affiliates throughout your state. Below is a static image, but you can follow this link for a live demo: http://madison.golibertas.com/our-party/lp-statename
The Libertas Platform offers a tabs component with over 20 predefined styles which allow you to create tabs-navigation on any page, and source the tab content from articles, modules, authors, etc.
Although there is almost certainly a predefined tab style which will coordinate with your Website uder interface design, you can also modify the predefined styles of the tabs to create new styles which better suit the look and feel of your Website.
In fact, one of the default tab styles is the very container in which you are viewing this text! Click the names of the Libertas Platform Extensions ("Facebook", "WYSYIWYG", etc.) along the top of this box - those are samples of the tabs module!
A Twitter feed box to help you keep fresh content on your page by showing your organization’s latest Tweets.
An advanced WYSIWYG editor for easier page layout and design than the standard Joomla WYSIWYG editor.
